Supermoon 9-27-15

With the second Supermoon of the year to take place, I decided that I wanted to get a shot of it. I started planning a couple of weeks in advance and mapped out a picture in my mind that I wanted to get.

About an hour before Moon rise, I headed out to the spot I picked, set up my camera, focused in and waited.

When the Moon came up, I didn’t get the shot I had planned, but I thankfully positioned myself with another option. As I headed home, I saw another shot.

Below are some of the shots I got from tonight’s Supermoon.
