Joey Bahr is a lifelong resident of Kansas. He grew up on a small farm in Central Kansas and graduated from Otis-Bison High School.
After graduating from Kansas State University in 2000 with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and a Minor in Leadership Studies, Joey embarked on a career in state politics. Six years later, Mr. Bahr decided it was time to end working as a political hack.
Since then, Joey has returned to Central Kansas and worked in education, broadcasting, and retail sales.
He currently resides outside of Great Bend, Kansas in rural Barton County.
Joey has enjoyed photography ever since taking it as a project for several years in 4-H. He took it back up in a more serious way starting in 2010. Joey enjoys photographing sports, wildlife, aviation, and many other things that catch his eye while holding a camera.
