Nine teams of swimmers went to the pool in the Kirkman Center on the campus of Barton Community College for the Great Bend Girls Swimming Invitational.
Manhattan dominated the meet winning seven of the twelve events and taking first as a team. Newton took first in the other five events but finished third in the team competition twelve points behind host Great Bend.
