2016 American Legion Class A Baseball State Championship Game Arkansas City vs Buhler 7-24-16

After playing the day before, the Arkansas City Grays and the Buhler Nationals faced off in a winner take all game for the 2016 American Legion Class A Baseball State Championship.

Both teams made the First Inning a wild affair with 11 runs between the two and both teams needing to bring in relief pitching. After the dust settled, Arkansas City led 7 to 4. Buhler clawed back one run in the Second Inning, but failed to plate any more.

Arkansas City claimed their second State Championship in a row with a 10 to 5 victory.

The Grays will now head to the Regional Tournament in Rapid City, South Dakota.
