I took a short spin through Cheyenne Bottoms after work today. It was a cold and gray day there.
The drought in Kansas is really starting to take hold. Many of the ponds and pools at the Bottoms are getting very low if not dry altogether.
Between the dry conditions and the cold windy day, not too many birds were around.
