I thought was over for the year, but an e-mail from Heather Williams of KWCH and CatchItKansas.com extended the season for one more week. They needed someone to shoot photos for the CatchItKansas.com website of the Class 2-1A Championship Game. This game pitted two recent champions, the Meade Buffaloes (2010) against the Centralia/Wetmore Panthers (2011)….
The Hoisington Cardinals hosted their neighbors from the south, the Great Bend Panthers on January 29th. Hoisington took an early lead in the game. The Otis-Bison Girls played their second game in the 2010 Larned Keady Classic against the Pawnee Heights Lady Tigers. The Russell Lady Broncos played the hosting Hoisington Lady Cardinals for the Girls Championship of the 2012 Hoisington Winter Jam. The Lady Cardinals took the early in the game, but then good shooting by the Lady Broncos and foul trouble caused the game to end with a 42 to 32 Russell victory and the Championship….
