Top Football Photos from 2024

I want to show you five photos I consider my best from the 2024 football season.

The first one is from the Great Bend Jamboree in August. It’s a great action shot of a Salina South player meeting a Hoisington defender on a play.

Next is a black-and-white image I made after an early season game between the Hesston Swathers and the Hoisington Cardinals. Many times, a team will gather for a prayer after the game. You can see how the players link together while praying.

Goodland’s Linkon Cure attracted a lot of attention this year. He is one of the highest-rated players in the nation. Both Kansas State and Oregon recruited him to play at their university. He committed to K-State and signed his letter of intent to be a Wildcat. I covered him playing the Scott Community Beavers. In this image, you can see Cure’s size and physique. I can’t wait to see what he does in Purple and White.

The Class 2A State Championship game between Southeast of Saline and Nemaha Central was a great matchup. The game was not decided until 11 seconds to go. Nemaha Central’s Carter Hajek crossed the goal line twice scoring touchdowns and once for a two-point conversion. In this image, you see a teammate, Jayden Seitz, celebrating Hajek’s two-point conversion.

As 2025 begins, I look forward to making many more images showing the action and passion of sports in Kansas.
