Week four saw the start of district play in Eight-Man Division I. The Central Plains Oilers traveled to face the Little River Redskins.
Central Plains came into the game with a six-year streak of not losing a district game. Little River looked to play spoiler as both teams took to the field with undefeated records.
The Oilers struck first with a touchdown after only four minutes played. They would continue to add points until the game was called near the end of the third quarter.

I made it to the Hoisington Cardinal Wrestling Classic for the last couple rounds. This was the first time I ever went to a wrestling tournament, not to mention shot it. It was quite the experience. Once a round started, they moved quickly. I would move from mat to mat looking for the next pairing…
The company I work for, Office Products, Inc., helped to sponsor the free concert at this year’s Ellinwood After Harvest Festival. The performer for the concert was Country singer-songwriter Logan Mize. Of course, I brought my camera along and here are some of the pictures I took at the show:
Championship Bull Riding’s CINCH Tour stopped at the United Wireless Arena for the Roto-Mix Dodge City Shootout. This event brought several top bull riders to try their luck on St. Patrick’s Day. After two rounds, Tate Harris walked away with the check, belt buckle, and the Championship Title for the Roto-Mix Dodge City Shootout. Below…
I started off Track and Field photography this year with just shooting a field event, 7th Grade Girls Shot Put. This took place at the Oiler Relays held at the Barton Community College Track. I only shot this one event as I went there to see my niece throw and then I had to get…

The emotion of winning or losing a game. The emotion of cheering on a teammate or showing the frustration from a mistake….
