Coming home from work, I saw some thunderstorms building in the West. I decided to grab my camera and a tripod and look for a good spot to shoot some pictures.
A few miles north and west of my house proved to be a good area with an open view of the approaching storm.
I took both of these pictures without a lightning trigger, so some blind luck went into getting these bolts.
