Super Moon over Central Kansas

I went out late at night on Saturday, May 5th to see the “Super Moon.”

This is where the Moon is 14% larger than normal due to its orbit. This is the point in the elliptical orbit where the Moon is at its closest point to the Earth.

Unfortunately, there were some very high level clouds that obscured the Moon some, so this is not as sharp as I can get. Plus, my 70-200mm lens can only get so close (which is another reason a 400mm f/2.8L sounds really nice).
