The McPherson Bullpups celebrated Homecoming 2012 with a game against the Winfield Vikings. The Vikings came out firing with a 65 yard touchdown strike. Otis-Bison took a trip down Highway 281 to face the Pratt-Skyline Thunderbirds. The Cougars scored first, but the Thunderbirds quickly responded and seemed to put Otis-Bison on their heels. The Central Plains Oilers traveled to Otis-Bison for a Central Prairie League matchup. The Cougars dominated most of the game. To kickoff the 2012 Football Season in Central Kansas, Great Bend and Hoisington met in a Week 1 Matchup. The game was a back and forth affair, with Great Bend scoring first right before halftime.
