A few weeks back I was driving to Otis in the waning evening light. I stopped on Otis Road south of Otis, Kansas and saw a deer walking towards me.

The Otis-Bison Cougars faced off with the Ellinwood Eagles to decide the winner of the consolation bracket for the 2011 Hoisington Winter Jam. Otis-Bison held the lead for most of the game. Otis-Bison celebrated the 2011 Homecoming in style. A Thunderbird and two Corvettes brought the attendants to the field. In the end, Zach Steskjal and Janelle Tammen won King and Queen.
