KSHSAA Class 2-1A Football Sectional: Oakley at LaCrosse 11-9-12

The KSHSAA Class 2-1A brought another matchup of common foes, the Oakley Plainsmen and the LaCrosse Leopards. For several years now, both teams have locked horns along the path to the State Championship game.

This year’s matchup proved to be a defensive struggle with LaCrosse taking only a 6-0 lead into the locker room at Halftime. The Second Half saw more scoring as the Leopards won the game 20 to 8.

Oakley finishes the season with a record of 7 and 3.

LaCrosse will travel to Meade for the chance to play in the State Championship game.
