2014 Hoisington Winter Jam – Hoisington Boys vs Ellsworth 1-23-14

The final Consolation Round game of the night saw the Hoisington Cardinals take on the Ellsworth Bearcats.

This game stood out from the others in that the coaches for the teams are identical twin brothers. That could be a good reason it was a tight game.

Hoisington took the lead in the first quarter, but could not pull away farther than five points for most of the evening. Both teams competed hard. In the end, the Cardinals won the game with a score of 32 to 27.

Hoisington will face Ellinwood for Fifth Place on Saturday Afternoon. Ellsworth will play Russell for Seventh Place also on Saturday Afternoon.
