Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport’s Founder’s Plaza 4-15-14

I took a trip to Dallas, Texas for a business meeting at the Canon USA office. The meeting wrapped up early enough that I took the short drive over to an amazing place to watch airplanes.

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport created the Founder’s Plaza. This is an area where people can park their cars and watch planes take off and land just a little over a quarter-mile away on one of the seven runways.

On this day, I saw a special sight as an Airbus A380 super jumbo jet took off after diverting to Dallas instead of Houston the day before.
