The Great Bend Municipal Airport hosted a fly-in again this year. Over 40 planes landed on the old Army Air Corps B-29 base. I went out in both the morning and afternoon, below is some of the pictures I took of this great event. [flickr-gallery mode=”photoset” photoset=”72157624945229611″]
Week 3 saw a 2-0 Otis-Bison travel to Chase, Kansas to face off with the Chase High Kats. This game was special to OBHS Head Coach Travis Starr as he is a grad of Chase. Otis-Bison won the game with a score of 54-6 (those 6 points are the only points the Cougars have surrendered…
One Saturday afternoon I took some time to tour the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita, Kansas. It houses an amazing collection of Wichita and aviation history. I took my camera out to Cheyenne Bottoms Labor Day afternoon. I dealt with a stiff north wind that day.
