The volleyball teams of the Central Kansas League gathered in Hesston on August 31st for the league Preseason Volleyball tournament.
The host team, Hesston, came in ranked fourth in Class 3A in the Kansas Volleyball Association poll. Their toughest competition on the day would come from the other ranked team, Nickerson, who
Both teams advanced out of pool play into the semi-finals. They then won each of their respective matches to square off for the championship.
It took three games to decide the winner. In the end, the hosts fell to Nickerson. The Lady Panthers enjoyed their
