St. John Boys Basketball versus Central Plains 12-13-16

When two teams face off enough times, rivalries develop. In Central Kansas, the St. John Tigers and the Central Plains Oilers have battled enough times over the past few years to develop a strong rivalry.

On this night in Claflin, both teams squared off in their first meeting of the year. The first quarter stayed tight. As the game went on, St. John widened out their lead until it grew to 30 points in the fourth quarter. The Tigers won the game with a final score of 62 to 31.

Both of these teams will meet at least twice more this year.
