Hoisington Football versus Ellsworth 10-14-16

Week Seven of the Football season saw the start of District games for Class 3A and other classifications. The Hoisington Cardinals traveled to the nearby Ellsworth Bearcats for their first District competition.

The first half started off sluggish for the Cardinals as they gave up an interception for a touchdown and allowed another. They finished the half by tying up the score at twelve each. They came out for the second half with a different attitude and dove the ball repeatedly down the field. At the final horn, Hoisington won with a score of 39 to 20.
